I come because, I'm court ordered and Medicaid pays for it, I am grateful for the care I have received, but the program definitely needs more funding.
Odyssey House changed my life!!! Great staff
They have helped me over come my addition and helped me start a better life I love this place.
This place is awesome if your looking to get into recovery and therapy...I had went thru the process of its outpatient program and learned a lot about myself and how to control my chemical as well as behavioral addictions...the staff here is very genuine and caring...There are lots of rules however that's life right?...But all the other treatment facilities model their treatment after Odyssey Houses...I highly recommend this outpatient center if your in need of changing your life from any addictions....
Reason being that I gave a High Five for this facility is that overall my experience here has been electrifying. My treatment and recovery is moving forward due to part of the support from the groups, therapist Jen and Mallory at the Martindale Clinic. Always taken the time to resolve my issues in the moment and I've never been marginalized or turned away. Staff have always been courteous and respectful and always have been treated equally like everyone else. The building is always clean and very well maintained. I'm being treated for depression but still their Mott: "WE ARE RECOVERY" really lives on. Here I found a sense of purpose and direction. Thanks Odyssey House!! Rock On!!

Odyssey House saved mine and my kids lives. It created a strong, powerful, self sufficient woman. My whole life was a mess. I came to Odyssey House a broken woman with no self esteem. A woman who was strung out on Meth and was extremely depressed and at rock bottom on the verge of losing my kids. I have been clean and sober for almost 8 years now. I learned how to stand on my own two feet. I graduated High school. I learned how to be a good mom for two children with their own special needs. I have learned to hold my head up high and never look back. I have received so many blessings in life and I owe it all to the hard work and dedication that not only the staff had for me but for all of the work I put in. Not a day goes by that I do not look at myself and say wow Look what I did. Look at where I came from and where I am now. Sobriety has given me so much to look forward to. Little by little my pieces are coming together and I know that I will be okay, Thank you Odyssey for everything. I love being an Odyssey Graduate. I love being a success. Thank you for giving me tho tools I needed to become Power Mama.
As a previous employee of odyssey house I can seriously say this place helps people who want the help! yes there are people there that are just getting out of prison, and that's part of what odyssey is there to help with. reintroduction to society is a hard thing to do and odyssey house helps with that is so many ways. They have vocational work that I believe is really good for someone in addiction recovery, and they help teach skills of how to deal with others that you couldn't match with any program! I worked there for only a few months but the experience was great! if your looking for a job in addiction recovery odyssey house is a good place to start, all the staff are very helpful and the human resources manager is awesome! Everyone is extremely busy but the house is a fun and exciting place to work it really has some character! I was in the program when I was younger but in the adolescent program and it really changed my life! Thank you odyssey for a job and a change in my perspective on life! Shout out to Jessica C! She's the nicest woman there hands down!!
